Christchurch Gondola

Stunning 360° views from 500 metres above sea level - to the west gaze across the sparkling cityscape of Christchurch, over the Canterbury Plains to the high peaks of the Southern Alps. Jet Thrills Christchurch

An exciting jet boating experience is only 20 minutes away from the centre of Christchurch. Situated on the famous Waimakariri River as it twists and turns its way from the Southern Alps to the sea. You will be amazed at how these specialised shallow water jet boats speed and spin in only a few centimetres of water. Our drivers love jet boating and sharing the fun with others. Small and large groups are welcome and transfers for the city area can be arranged. We operate 364 days a year, subject to weather and river conditions.

International Antarctic Centre

Journey through modern day Antarctica and experience a taste of this unique and breathtaking continent. Punting on the Avon

Summer or winter, glide along the tranquil Avon River in Christchurch, as a skilled punter in traditional Edwardian attire propels you slowly along the water. Our Avon River Punting tours are set aboard handcrafted flat-bottomed boats, poled along by your punter from the platformed till at the rear end of the boat. An ideal group or family activity, Punting on the Avon is an eco-friendly way to relax and enjoy Christchurch from a different perspective. From our Park departure point travel leisurely from the historic Antigua Boat sheds, through the Botanic Gardens, and enjoy the spectacular flora that our ‘Garden City’ is famous for. Alternatively, our City departure point takes you through the heart of our city through the progressing Avon

Adrenaline Forest

Fly, jump, swing and scream in through the tree tops. Adrenalin Forest is best described as high wire, high excitement activity, where participants can test their limits and conquer their fears. It is a great confidence builder and adrenalin rush. The park features an aerial obstacle course more than 2 km in length, up to 20 metres off the ground and covering three hectares of forest. Participants negotiate a series of 100 challenging activities high up in the tree canopy attached by an overhead safety wire. There are six different courses of progressive difficulty. Test yourself how high and how far you will go. Affordable fun for the whole family. It takes around 3 hours to complete the course.

Christchurch Tramway

Enjoy a journey in style through the changing face of Christchurch’s city centre on board our beautifully restored heritage Trams, one of Christchurch’s leading attractions, Our friendly and knowledgeable drivers will inform you about the city, its landmarks and local sights. Your day-long ticket allows you to get on and off the Tram as often as you please! The journey takes you to the appropriate stops for Punting on the Avon, and the Caterpillar Tour of the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. Cathedral Junction, Avon River, Re:START Mall, Gothic-style Arts Centre, the Canterbury Museum and New Regent Street. We have 17 stops en route.

Christchurch Tramway Restaurant
